Heart of The Rockies Fun Run
The Heart of The Rockies Fun Run is held in Invermere, BC, at the northern end of Lake Windermere as part of a multisport weekend. The event offers two race distances and shares a start with the run-bike-run duathlon.
- 5 km (one lap)
- 10 km (two laps)
Aid stations are available on the course and food and refreshments are provided at the finish area. Registration includes race timing, awards for the top three male and top three female in each race, and the post-race food-fest. Entry fees are $45 for the 5 km and $55 for the 10 km.
Race package pickup takes place on Friday and Saturday at Kinsmen Beach Park. The start and finish area is at Kinsmen Beach; athletes park at the tennis courts along 4th Ave just north of Kinsmen Beach. Dogs are not allowed in the beach area.
