Heart of the Rockies Fun Run
The event takes place in Invermere, British Columbia, at the northern end of Lake Windermere, and is part of a multisport weekend. The fun runs are held alongside a run, bike, run Duathlon.
Distances offered:
- 5 km one lap.
- 10 km two laps.
Aid stations are available on the course and food and refreshments are provided at the finish. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers in each race. Registration includes race timing, awards for top three male and female in each race, and post-race food. Entry fees are $45 for the 5 km and $55 for the 10 km.
Race package pickup is available on the days before the event at Kinsmen Beach park. Runners start in conjunction with Duathlon participants. Athletes typically park near the tennis courts along 4th Ave just north of Kinsmen Beach. Dogs are not allowed in the beach area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
