Heart of The Rockies Fun Run
The event takes place in Invermere, British Columbia, at the northern end of Lake Windermere. The 5 km and 10 km fun runs are part of a multisport weekend and start in conjunction with the run-bike-run duathlon. Runners line up on the start line with duathlon participants.

The 5 km course is one loop and the 10 km course is two loops. Aid stations are available on the course and food and refreshments are provided at the finish. Awards are given to the top three overall male and top three overall female finishers.
Entry fees are listed as 45 $ for the 5 km and 55 $ for the 10 km. Registration includes race timing, awards for the top three men and women in each race, and the post-race food event. Race package pickup is available on the days before the race at Kinsmen Beach park.
The start and transition area is at Kinsmen Beach. Athletes are advised to park near the tennis courts along 4th Ave, just north of Kinsmen Beach. Dogs are not allowed in the beach area. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
