The Health Grows Here: 5K Fun Run is an inaugural 5K run/walk scheduled for April 18, 2026 in Globe, Arizona. The event is set at 5880 S Hospital Dr on the CVRMC campus. It is family-friendly and open to all ages; participants may walk, jog, or run at their own pace along a route that surrounds the hospital and offers mountain and desert views. The listed entry fee is $25, while children under 12 may register for free. All registered participants receive an event T-shirt. Free child registration does not automatically include a finisher medal; an optional kid medal can be added during registration. Awards will be presented for Fastest Male, Fastest Female, and Fastest Kid Runner. Registration closes on April 18, 2026.
Race details
The course is described as scenic, safe, and clearly marked. There will be a water station and snacks at the finish line. Friendly volunteers and community cheer squads will be on site, and an award ceremony will follow the race. Registered participants receive free entry to the Health Fair held afterward.
