Health Grows Here 5K Fun Run
The inaugural Health Grows Here 5K Run/Walk takes place in Globe, Arizona, on the campus of the Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center. This event serves as the kickoff for the community Health Fair day. The course is situated around the hospital grounds, offering participants views of the surrounding mountains and desert landscape.
The event consists of a single distance:
- 5 km (Run/Walk)
Participants will follow a clearly marked route that is fully supported by volunteers and community cheer squads. A water station is provided for runners and walkers, and snacks are available at the finish line once the course is completed. Registration is open to all ages, and children under the age of 12 are permitted to participate for free. Integrated into the morning schedule is an award ceremony recognizing the fastest male, female, and kid runners.
Participants who register for the event receive a commemorative T-shirt. While free registrations for children do not automatically include a finisher medal, an option to add a medal is provided during the registration process.
