Copper Corridor - Superior, Arizona
The Copper Corridor Trail Runs take place in and around the old mining town of Superior, Arizona. The event offers multiple trail distances that start and finish in downtown Superior or at the Superior Public Pool. The 2026 edition is sold out and race day registration is not available due to a capacity limit set by permitting agencies.
- 50K Arizona Trail loop around Picketpost Mountain
- 32K Arnett to Picketpost Trailhead with two miles on the Arizona Trail
- 17K Trail route departing downtown Superior into Arnett Canyon
- 12K Start and finish at Superior Public Pool on a shorter trail route
Courses leave Superior and head west into Arnett Canyon, moving through riparian areas with flowing creeks, dense sycamore trees, and rock formations. The 50K route includes many miles of the Arizona Trail and a circumnavigation of Picketpost Mountain. Aid stations are located roughly every 2 to 10 miles and provide water, electrolyte drink, sweet and salty snacks, and fruit. The aid station at Telegraph Canyon is remote and stocked minimally by volunteers.
Packet pickup is scheduled the day before the race on Main Street Superior and on race day at downtown Superior and at the Superior Public Pool. The event description includes maps and interactive route profiles for each distance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
