Rose Mile Downhill at Lake Sonoma
Healdsburg Running Company organizes the sixth annual Lake Sonoma Rosé Mile Downhill, a one-mile road event held at Lake Sonoma in Healdsburg, CA. The event is presented as a fun-only zone and is described as a social, noncompetitive mile on a public road.
The course is a 100% downhill road route along Madrone toward the water. Participants gather at the Liberty Glen Campground and walk a short distance from Campground E to the start line. The finish area is located at Gray Pine Trailhead, where a breakfast party will be held after the run.
The event includes themed elements and informal awards, including Best Smile and Best Rosé-Inspired Costume. Along the route, "Rosé Aid Stations" are placed approximately every quarter mile; runners are expected to stop at each station to hydrate with a pour of rosé before continuing. Proceeds benefit the Children of Vineyard Workers Scholarship Fund.
Registration information is noted as coming soon. The event is organized locally and framed as a casual, themed mile tied to Lake Sonoma and community fundraising. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
