Heal the Block 5K
Heal the Block 5K is a community 5K walk and run in North Omaha on June 6, 2026. The course is an out and back route along the North Omaha Trail, also called the Paxton Blvd Trail, with minimal street crossings. The event begins and finishes at CoreScience BioDiagnostics, located at 3824 N 30th St, Omaha, NE 68111.
The event welcomes both walkers and runners and is presented with a family friendly atmosphere. On-site features include free health screenings, a vendor marketplace, music, and other community activities. Registered participants receive event participation and a T-shirt.
Practical details provided by the organizer note that parking is available in the school lot across from CoreScience and that additional street parking is available nearby. Registration opens March 31, 2026 and closes May 29, 2026, with a registration fee of $25.00. Participants acknowledge that they take part at their own risk and release the event organizers from liability for injuries or incidents.
