Headed for Hope 5K - Charlotte, NC
Headed for Hope is an annual community event hosted by Carolina NeuroSurgery & Spine Associates on May 22, 2027, at 225 Baldwin Ave in Midtown Charlotte. The event program includes a 5K Run/Walk, a kids dash called Brady the Brain's Kids Dash, and a Supporter registration option that provides a race t-shirt without running.
Registration opens October 19, 2026 and closes on May 22, 2027. Published registration fees are $35 for the 5K and Supporter option, and $12 for the Kids Dash.
Participants will follow a course that begins and finishes at the host office on Baldwin Avenue and runs through a neighborhood in Charlotte. Race services listed for participants include a race t-shirt and a finisher medal while supplies last, a timed 5K competitive course, and awards for top finishers including overall and age-group recognitions. The event schedule also notes a post-race party with a kid zone, games, music, on-site food trucks, and a 21 and over beer garden provided by Lost World Brewing. Additional features include inspirational stories from patient champions and a sponsor booth vendor fair.
