Event
The 12th Annual Head for the Cure 5K - NC Triangle is scheduled for Sunday, March 8, 2026, at Southern Village Green, 620 Market St, Chapel Hill, NC 27516. The event is a fundraising 5K with a same-day program that includes packet pick up, a kids fun run, a brain tumor survivor photo, and special recognitions and community remembrances.

Registration and fundraising
Early bird 5K registration is listed at $34 and includes an event t-shirt, timing bib, and medal; the 5K registration is for ages 9 and up. A combined 5K plus dog registration is listed at $49 and includes a dog bandana. Kids Fun Run registration is listed at $25 for children 9 or younger and includes a t-shirt and ribbon. A virtual registration is listed at $40 and includes an event t-shirt and a finishers medal mailed to the participant. All attendees are given the opportunity to fundraise. The campaign shows $834.13 raised toward a $40,000 goal.
