The Love the Run You're With is a 5K running event held in Cary, North Carolina. It takes place on Sunday, February 15, 2026.
Course Details
The route uses the standard 5K cross-country course at WakeMed Soccer Park. The course is entirely off-road, consisting of a mix of open fields and paths through woods.
Registration and Fees
Registration fees are tiered and include a long-sleeve race t-shirt for registrations completed by January 24, 2026, while supplies last.
- Individual Age 18+: $30 through Dec 31, $35 from Jan 1 to Feb 10, $40 from Feb 11 to race day.
- Individual Age 17 & Under: $22 through Dec 31, $26 from Jan 1 to Feb 10, $30 from Feb 11 to race day.
- Couple (2 adults): $55 through Dec 31, $63 from Jan 1 to Feb 11, $69 from Feb 11 to race day.
Participant Information
Participants receive a custom race bib. Valentine's chocolates and live online results are also provided. The event is part of the 2026 Triangle Race Series.
Awards
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as to the top male and female finisher in the following age groups: 19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
