Haynor Hawk 5K Run / 1 Mile Family Walk
The event is scheduled for September 26, 2026 at Haynor School, 1779 Haynor Rd, Ionia, MI 48846. The school is organizing its first 5K fun run and a separate 1 mile family walk. Distances included in the program are:
- 3.1 Miles 5K run or walk
- 1 Mile family walk
The 5K course begins at Haynor School on Dick Rd, goes north, turns right onto Haynor Rd, takes a sharp right onto Dildine Road, then a right onto Stanbro, and finally a right back onto Haynor Rd to return to the school; the course ends at the first driveway. The 1 mile route starts at Haynor School on Dick Rd, goes south to a stop sign, then turns around and returns north to the school.
Registration opens August 19, 2026 and closes September 19, 2026. The stated registration fees are $25.00 for the 5K and $20.00 for the 1 mile walk. Early registration is noted as a way to be guaranteed a t shirt. All proceeds will go to Haynor Children’s Fund. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
