Hayden Lake Marathon (October 10, 2026)
The event takes place in Hayden Lake, ID 83835 with the race start at Honeysuckle Beach Boat Launch, 2369 E Honeysuckle Ave. The race weekend includes multiple events:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon
- Quarter Marathon
- 5K (includes a 5K - First 25 Kids Run FREE option)
- Kids Fun Run
- Hayden Lake Virtual Run
The marathon entry price is $90 (price increases after February 14, 2026). Half marathon entry is $75; quarter marathon is $45. The 5K price range is $0 - $35. Kids Fun Run is free initially and increases to $20 after the first 75 registrants. The virtual run entry is $45. The marathon is open to ages 18-99. The Kids Fun Run is open to ages 1-12.
Logistics, services, and rules
Pre-race packet pick-up is scheduled for October 9, 2026 at Triple Play Resort Hotel & Suites, 151 W Orchard Ave, with a stated pickup window of 2:00pm - 7:00pm. Limited bib pick-up on race morning is available only for extenuating circumstances. No parking is available at the start line; shuttle bus service is used and a shuttle trip including waiting and ride takes about 10-15 minutes.
Race Village near the finish will provide water, electrolytes, food, snacks, portable toilets, and hand washing stations. Gear check is available for all runners near Race Village; bags will be labeled with a wrist band tied to bib number. Aid stations are located roughly every 2-3 miles with water, sports drink, GU gels, gummy chews, toilets, and first aid kits. Cutoff times: marathon finish required within 6.5 hours; half marathon within 6 hours. The course uses city roads and sidewalks with law enforcement or flaggers at crossings.
