Race details and logistics
Packet pickup is offered Friday, October 9, 2026 at Triple Play Resort Hotel & Suites, and limited bib pickup is available on race morning near the start for extenuating circumstances. The race start location is Honeysuckle Beach Boat Launch, 2369 E Honeysuckle Ave, Hayden, ID. No parking is available at the start line; information on drop-off zones, parking, and shuttle bus locations is provided on the Spectator & Travel page. The shuttle trip for participants typically takes about 10-15 minutes.
Aid stations are placed roughly every 2-3 miles and will provide water, sports drink, GU gels, and gummy bear chews. Toilets are available near every aid station. Race Village near the finish will offer water, electrolytes, food, snacks, portable toilets, and hand washing stations. Gear check is available for all runners; athletes must show their bib to drop off and pick up bags.
Cutoff rules require marathon finishers within 6.5 hours and half marathon finishers within 6 hours.
Awards, charity, and safety
Awards are given 1st through 3rd overall male and female for each distance and 1st in each age group by gender (age groups from 1-14 up to 75+). The official race charity partner is Lake City High School Cross Country; donations support the team and volunteers. Course safety uses law enforcement or flaggers at crossings, and first aid kits are located at all aid stations and Race Village. Headphone guidance notes single-ear or bone conduction use.
