Hawkins Thriller 5K
The Hawkins Thriller 5K is a running event held in Jackson, Georgia at 400 Franklin Street, 30233. The event includes an in-person 5K and a Virtual 5K option. Registration opens on 2026-07-11 and closes on 2026-09-19. The registration fee for each entry is $45.00.
Registered participants receive an official finisher medal and a t-shirt. Virtual participants who do not live in the Jackson, GA area will have the official finisher medal and t-shirt mailed to them. A DJ will play Michael Jackson music with a focus on Thriller, and participants are invited to wear costumes for the themed atmosphere.
The event is hosted by Love Thy Neighbor of Jackson GA Inc in partnership with Stranger Tours. Proceeds from the race are reinvested locally to support reading initiatives for children, scholarships for high school seniors, food assistance for individuals and families facing food insecurity, and programs that support the senior community.
