Hawaiʻi Walk for Health 2026
The third annual Hawaiʻi Walk for Health takes place on August 29, 2026, at Neal S. Blaisdell Park in Aiea. The event combines a community walk with post walk activities that include sponsor booths, music, and opportunities for photos.
The program includes two participant categories: an adults and teenagers category with a registration fee of $20, and a kids category with a registration fee of $10. Children under three attend free. Registration for the adults and teenagers category opens June 3, 2026, and registration for the kids category opens July 1, 2026; registration closes on August 29, 2026.
The route is described as well marked and mostly flat. The course and event features are intended to be accessible to families with children, kūpuna, beginners, and individuals with reduced mobility. Along the route participants will encounter inspirational and educational signs, community messages, and support stations. The event also provides opportunities to connect with organizations working on health, immigrant rights, workers advocacy, and cultural education.
The walk is hosted by five community organizations and includes a list of partner groups. Funds and awareness raised by the event support community initiatives related to health, civic engagement, cultural awareness, and community empowerment across Hawaiʻi.
