Havelock Charity Run
The 48th annual Havelock Charity Run takes place on Saturday, June 6, 2026, in Lincoln, Nebraska, with the start line at 62nd and Havelock Avenue. The course passes through Mahoney Park and finishes at Havelock Park. Food and beverages are provided at the post-race gathering in the park.
Distances include:
- 10 km individual entry
- 3 km individual entry
- Kids Grand Prix 3 km for children age 12 and under
The event includes a team competition. Teams must have between 4 and 7 members. Team Captains register first and receive a Team Captain Transaction Code for team members to use. If at least four team members finish, Pinnacle Bank will donate $100 to the local charity selected by the team. Team scores are calculated by adding the times of the top four finishers, with specific team categories for Youth, Women, Mixed, Corporate, and Open. Mixed teams must have at least two members of each gender counting in the score.
Entry fees are listed per category. Early registration fees and late registration fees apply; ages 19 and under receive a reduced fee. Online registration is open until 5:59 PM CDT on June 5 and no race day registrations are accepted. Packet pickup is Friday, June 5 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM at Pinnacle Bank, 201 Sun Valley Blvd, and Saturday, June 6 from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM at J-Tech Solar, 6200 Havelock Ave. Early registrants will receive a T shirt while registrations after May 18 are not guaranteed a T shirt.
Awards include Havelock Area Merchant gift certificates for the top three teams in each category and the top three individuals in each race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
