Overview
Haunting Experience is scheduled for October 30, 2026 in Denton, TX at North Lakes Park, 2001 W. Windsor Rd., Denton 76207. The event offers on-site and virtual options and includes a free Kid's Dash. Organizer Run Different designates a portion of proceeds to Encounter Church (Fate) - 10% of profits and 100% of donations.

Entry fees listed in event information are $0 for the Kid's Dash, $35 for the 5K, $18 for the 1 Mile, and $40 for the Virtual Option. The 5K and 1 Mile fees increase after April 30, 2026. Virtual registrants receive shirt and medal shipped the week of the race. Kid dash participants may purchase a t-shirt and finisher medal as add-ons.
Awards and race features
Registration for the 5K and 1 Mile includes an event-themed participation t-shirt and a custom survivor medal for those distances. The 1 Mile is an untimed event and has no age group awards. The 5K is eligible for age group awards, with placements awarded four deep across male and female divisions from 0-4 up to 80+. Awards are also listed for Male and Female Overall, Masters (40+), and Grand Masters (60+). Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped.
