Event details
The Big One is scheduled for Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Keller Town Hall, 1100 Bear Creek Pkwy., Keller, TX 76248. The main in-person course is a family-friendly 5K run held on the trails around Keller. The event is set for Super Bowl Sunday and includes on-site check-in and an awards ceremony. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped.

Entries, fees and registration
Entry fees listed in the source are: Kid's Dash free, 5K $38, 1 Mile $20, and Virtual Option $40. The 5K and 1 Mile have a stated price increase after January 30, 2026. Registration for the Kid's Dash and the Virtual Option closes February 7, 2026. Registrants for the 5K and 1 Mile receive an event-themed participation t-shirt and a finisher medal; registrants are advised to register by 02/02 to guarantee t-shirt size. The 1 Mile is described as an untimed event with no age group awards.
Awards, extras and community support
Age-group awards for the 5K are given four deep across male and female divisions from 0-4 through 80+. Overall and masters categories (including 40+ and 60+ divisions) receive overall medals. Kid's Dash participants run free and may purchase a t-shirt or finisher medal as add-ons. A virtual entry option includes shipping of the shirt and medal the week of the race. The event organizer donates 15% of profits and 100% of donations to Encounter Church (Fate). Volunteers receive a code for a free race as a thank-you.
