Event Overview
The Don't Tread on Me event is scheduled for Saturday, February 21, 2026. It takes place at Greenbelt 428 Park in Aubrey, Texas. This is the second annual edition of the event.
Distances Offered
The event includes several running distances:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
- 5K
- 1 Mile
- Kid's Dash (a free 100-200 meter sprint for children) A virtual race option is also available.
Registration Details
Standard registration includes an event-themed t-shirt and a custom finisher medal for participants in the 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, and 1 Mile events. Age group awards are given for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon distances. The top four finishers in each age division receive an additional medal. Overall winners and masters categories also receive overall medals. Awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped. The 1 Mile event is untimed and does not offer age group awards. The race uses gun timing.
Charity
The organizing group, Run Different, states it donates to charities, including a portion of profits to the Wounded Warrior Project and Encounter Church.
Schedule and Logistics
On-site check-in is available on race day. An awards ceremony is scheduled. Course maps for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon are available online. The Kid's Dash takes place before the main events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
