2026 Haunted Half Marathon
The event includes a half marathon distance of 13.1 miles, a Monster Mile and a relay option. Relay teams are composed of 2 to 4 members; teams may register in Coed, Male, or Female categories. Participants who plan to run the entire 13.1 miles while entered on a relay team are instructed to enter as individual runners and to run the first relay leg.
Entry options and fees vary by date. Individual runner fees are $50 until April 30, $55 from May 1 to July 31, $65 from August 1 to October 29, and $70 on October 30 and October 31. Relay team prices are per member and are $40 until April 30, $45 May 1 to July 31, $50 August 1 to October 29, and $55 on October 30 and October 31. A virtual runner option is available with fees of $30 until April 30, $35 May 1 to October 29, and $40 on October 30 and October 31. Monster Mile fees are $10 until April 30, $20 May 1 to October 29, and $25 on October 30 and October 31. Adult shirt sizes are offered in S, M, L, XL, XXL and XXXL.
Registration information is provided online and via a mailed entry form. Checks are payable to Haunted Half Marathon and mailed to 3101 Browns Mill Road, Suite 6-182, Johnson City, TN 37604. The entry form collects basic participant details and a race day emergency contact. All entrants sign a waiver releasing the City of Johnson City, The Goose Chase, affiliates, co-sponsoring organizations and others from claims related to participation. Entrants attest to being physically fit and give permission for free use of their name and picture in newspaper, broadcast, telecast or other written accounts of the event.
