Haunted Half Marathon & Relay - Kingsport
The Haunted Half Marathon & Relay is an annual race event in Kingsport, Tennessee, held on October 31, 2026. The event includes in-person and virtual participation and maintains a Halloween theme with a costume contest and family-friendly activities. The Monster Mile is open to adults, kids, strollers, and dogs and is not timed.

Packet pickup is handled at the Kingsport Chamber of Commerce on the days before the race and the morning of the event. Some parking lots and roads will be closed or blocked for the event; the parking lots at Food City and the Farmers Market are not available. Course markings include arrow stickers on the ground and blue arrow signs, and officers and volunteers will be present along the route. Exchange locations for the relay are Lamont Greenbelt Access at 2241 Lamont Street near mile 3, Holston Valley Drive Trailhead at 300 Holston Valley Drive near mile 6, and Boat Yard Landing Trailhead at 2201 Netherland Inn Road near mile 9. Shuttles will be available near the start and finish area. Water on course and post race is provided by Healthy Kingsport.
Awards cover top overall, masters, grandmasters, age groups, top relay teams, and best costume categories. The event offers a virtual option that accepts GPS proof and provides race items by pickup, local pickup, or mail. The organizer has a no refund policy with options to transfer an entry, switch to virtual, or defer to the next year; limited refunds before October carry a service charge.
