About the race
The 15th annual Hattiesburg Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K takes place in Hattiesburg on April 10, 2027 with the start and finish at 201 Forrest Street in front of the Saenger Theatre. The event supports fundraising for Pine Belt nonprofit organizations and draws participants to the city.
The course passes a number of local landmarks and businesses. The route goes through downtown, toward the Avenues, loops around the Hattiesburg Zoo, tours the University of Southern Mississippi campus, and follows the Longleaf Trace to the finish. Each participating nonprofit will “own” a mile of the course by decorating that mile and cheering on participants as they pass.

- 5K
- 3.1 Miles walking events
A charity runner is a registered participant who fundraises for a selected 501(c)(3). Charity runners provide financial and social engagement support and commit time and effort to the charity’s mission. There may be a prize for the charity runner who raises the most.
There are no refunds for race entry. Race insurance from an outside vendor is available during registration. A Finisher’s Fest will be held at The Commons at Gordan’s Creek, 115 Hardy Street, about a three minute walk from the finish line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
