Hattiesburg Half Marathon • 10K • 5K
The 15th annual Hattiesburg Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K takes place on April 10, 2027, with the start and finish located at 201 Forrest Street in front of the Saenger Theatre in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
The course passes downtown, continues toward the Avenues, loops around the Hattiesburg Zoo, and tours the University of Southern Mississippi campus before proceeding along the Longleaf Trace to the finish. Local businesses are engaged along the route. Each participating Pine Belt nonprofit will decorate and cheer along a designated mile of the course.
The event program includes multiple race and walking options:
- Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles
- 10K
- 5K
- 5K walk / Charity walker - 3.1 Miles
Charity runners register as race participants who fundraise for one of the participating 501(c)(3) nonprofits. Charity runners commit to raising funds and promoting their chosen nonprofit; there may be recognition or a prize for the top fundraiser.
Registration opens October 12, 2026 and closes October 15, 2026. Listed registration fees include $75 for the half marathon, $40 for the 10K, and $35 for the 5K and walk. The organizer’s refund policy states there are no refunds, though race insurance is offered by an outside vendor during registration.
A finisher’s fest will be held at The Commons at Gordan's Creek, 115 Hardy Street, about a three minute walk from the finish line. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
