HATA 5K Fun Run
The HATA 5K Fun Run is scheduled for Sunday, March 29, 2026, in Hilo, Hawaii. The event starts at Liliuokalani Gardens, follows the Bayfront canoe club section, and returns to the starting area. The course is offered as a 5K run or walk.
The event is organized by the Hawaii Athletic Trainers’ Association. HATA's mission is to enhance the quality of health care provided by its members and to advance the athletic training profession in the State of Hawaii. Proceeds from the event will support future events, scholarships, and equipment. The date coincides with the close of National Athletic Training Month.
Online registration closes on March 21, 2026. Day-of onsite or late registration is available on March 29, though tee-shirts are not guaranteed for late registrants. The registration fee is $25 and includes snacks, aid stations, and timing. Tee-shirts are in limited supply; available adult men sizes are small, medium, large, x-large, and xx-large.
