Hat City Dash 5K
The Hat City Dash 5K is scheduled for June 7, 2026 in Danbury, Connecticut, with the course starting and finishing on Kenosia Avenue. The event distance is 3.1 Miles. Parking and the post race gathering are at Elicit Brewing, located at 15 Backus Avenue.
The course is flat. Runners begin heading northbound on Kenosia Avenue, proceed to Christopher Columbus Avenue, continue around the cul de sac, and return toward the start and finish. A hydration table will be located around the halfway point.
Awards and a post race party take place at Elicit Brewing, where live music will be provided by Kenny Mehler. Gift cards from CT Run Co will be awarded to the top three men and top three women. A complimentary beer from Elicit Brewing will be offered to any runner age 21 or older with valid proof of sign up.
Registration opens February 15, 2026 and closes May 1, 2026; the registration fee is $40.00. Shirts are available for runners who sign up before May 10; availability cannot be guaranteed after that date. Early bib pickup is available at Elicit Brewing on June 4 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. Discounts are offered for groups and teams. The event proceeds support an officer’s child education fund; a recipient will be chosen randomly by an independent third party.
