Hat City Dash 5K : Danbury, CT
The Hat City Dash 5K takes place on June 7, 2026, in Danbury, Connecticut, with the course starting and finishing on Kenosia Avenue. Runners follow a northbound route to Christopher Columbus Avenue, continue around the cul-de-sac, and return to the start/finish. The course is described as flat and includes a hydration table near the halfway point.
Registration opens February 15 and closes May 1; the registration fee is $40. A Mother's Day weekend promotion offers 15% off with promo code Mom. Shirts are available for runners who register before May 10. Early bib pickup will be available at Elicit Brewing with exact date and time to be confirmed.
Post race activities include awards and a party at Elicit Brewing. Runners age 21 and over receive a free beer from Elicit Brewing with valid proof of registration. Plenty of parking is available on race day at the Elicit Brewing lot at 15 Backus Avenue.
Every dollar raised from this race will support an officer’s child’s higher education fund. A recipient will be chosen at the end of the event by an independent third party. The event will proceed rain or shine. Organizers are seeking sponsors to fund medals for participants and will update participants if sponsors are secured.
