The event is chip-timed by a professional timing service. Emergency medical services will be present. The race is held regardless of weather conditions.

Packet pickup for in-person events is scheduled for the day before the race at the same church location. T-shirts are included with in-person registration, but are not guaranteed for entries received after a specified date in October. Age group award medals are listed for the in-person 5k event.
