About the race
The 20th Annual Harvest Hustle 5K is a 3.1-mile run/walk held at Fifer’s Farm Store & Kitchen in Camden-Wyoming, Delaware. The course is USATF-certified and runs as an out-and-back route that combines paved road sections with off-road surfaces.
The course is described as mostly flat and passes through rural scenery including apple orchards, pumpkin fields, and farmland. The final segment leads participants through an apple orchard on a dirt road. The event is chip-timed by Races2Run and welcomes walkers and families.
Awards are presented after the event at Fifer Orchards and include custom Harvest Hustle trophies. Recognition is given to overall top finishers (top three male and top three female), masters champions for men and women, and male and female age-division winners in the following groups: 10 & under, 11–15, 16–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 & over.
Registration benefits and on-site amenities include a commemorative 20th anniversary T-shirt with registration, a sweatshirt pre-order option, free admission on event day for participants and their families to Fifer’s U-Play and the corn maze, post-race refreshments including Fifer’s apple cider and apple-cider donuts, and complimentary beer for participants age 21 and over provided by Dewey Beer Co. Race-day registration is limited to 50 spots and accepts cash, check, or credit card. One hundred percent of proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society of Delaware.
