Kensington Harvest Festival Race Day
The event is an out and back route along the Confederation Trail just south of Kensington, Prince Edward Island. The course follows a well maintained crushed stone trail and passes through rolling farmland, wooded sections and open landscapes.
About 95% of the route is on a smooth, unpaved surface. The course is predominantly flat with gradual rolling sections, featuring long straightaways and gentle curves. There are minimal road crossings and virtually no vehicle traffic along the trail.
Water stations are positioned throughout the course. Volunteers and supporters provide encouragement at intervals along the route. The finish takes place as part of a Harvest Festival celebration where friends, family and other participants gather at the finish area.
