About the race
Presented by Provincial Credit Union, the Kensington Harvest Festival Race Day takes place in Kensington, Prince Edward Island on August 22, 2026. The event uses an out-and-back course along the historic Confederation Trail, beginning just south of Kensington and running through rolling farmland, wooded sections and open landscapes.
The trail is a well-maintained crushed stone surface with about 95% of the route unpaved. The course is predominantly flat with gradual rolling sections, and it has minimal road crossings and virtually no vehicle traffic. Water stations are positioned along the route and volunteers and supporters provide encouragement near the course and finish area.

- Half Marathon (finisher medals awarded to early registrants)
- 10 km (finisher medals awarded to early registrants)
- 5 km (finisher medals awarded to early registrants)
- Kids Fun Run
Limited spots are listed for the timed distances and there is no same day registration. Event medals are reserved for the first 150 participants registered in the Half Marathon, 10 km and 5 km races.
