Hartness Triathlon
The Hartness Triathlon takes place on 29 May 2027 at 500 Hartness Drive, Greenville, SC. It is the event's second year and is part of the SC Triathlon Series. The venue is a private community with homes, a hotel and spa, a restaurant, and quiet surroundings a short drive from downtown Greenville and the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.
The main sprint distance uses open water for the swim and follows these segments: a 750 meter swim, a 20K bike and a 5K run. The event offers multiple race formats.
- Sprint Triathlon : 750 m swim, 20K bike, 5K run.
- Sprint Relay : team of 2 or 3, each completes one leg.
- Aquabike : swim and bike only, 20.75K total.
- Aquathlon : swim and run only, 5.75K total.
Registration opens on 1 October 2026. Fees listed for the events are $90 for the Sprint Triathlon, $160 for the Sprint Relay, and $70 for both the Aquabike and Aquathlon. Sprint Relay registration closes on 28 February 2027; other events close on 31 December 2026.
