Event Overview
The Hartford Track Club Quarter Marathon takes place at West Hartford Reservoir #4. This event features a unique 6.55 mile distance, which represents a quarter of a full marathon. The race is limited to a maximum of 150 participants.
The competition is held on well-marked paved trails winding through the park. Runners complete two loops of 3.275 miles each to reach the total distance. A single aid station is located approximately halfway through the loop to provide assistance to participants.
Registration and Participation
Registration includes professional chip timing, the processing fee, and post-race treats. There is a participation limit of 150 runners; however, if this capacity is not reached by the day of the event, race day registration may be available.
Awards and Recognition
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers. Additionally, winged foot medals are awarded to the top three runners in five-year age group categories.
Location and Parking
The event is located at 1420 Farmington Avenue in West Hartford. Free parking is available at the West Hartford Reservoir, though the lot is open to the general public and typically fills quickly.
