King of the Hill - Pyalong, VIC
King of the Hill is a last-person-standing hill repeat event held in Pyalong, Victoria on 31 October 2026. Up to 300 participants run a marked circuit that includes two major climbs and one steep descent over predominantly grassy, uneven terrain with small rock clusters.
The competition format requires participants to complete the circuit once every hour; those who fail to finish a lap within the hour are eliminated. Course specifications listed for the event are 4.2 km per lap with 300 m elevation gain. Participants must be at least 18 years old.
Cash awards and timed prizes are offered, including a main cash prize for the last person standing, separate awards for the last male and last female standing, and fastest-lap prizes. The event provides live results tracking on-site and a global livestream; a previous livestream ran for 90 consecutive hours and attracted more than 100,000 viewers.
Race entry includes a designated personal rest area (reported as 3 m x 3 m), up to three support people in that area at a time, GPS tracking, a race pack, finisher medals with optional engraving, professional event photography, access to on-site physio and an ice bath recovery zone, and an on-site tattoo artist.
