Event overview
King of The Hill is a last-person-standing running event on 31 October 2026 in Pyalong, Victoria. The event fields a limited group of challengers and offers cash prizes and awards, including prizes for the last person standing, last male standing, last female standing, and fastest lap times. The event is live streamed hourly and features a live leaderboard updated via an event app.
Format and course
Competitors must complete a circuit up and down a hill once each hour. Laps continue hourly until only one competitor remains. The published course specifications are 4.2 km distance and 300 m elevation gain. The course includes two major climbs and one very steep descent, mostly grassy terrain with small rocks. Participants must be 18 years or older.

Entries include race entry, a designated personal rest area, live results tracking, an exclusive race pack, finisher medals with personalised engraving, professional event photography, complimentary support passes, and access to on-site medical staff and recovery facilities including physio and an ice bath zone. A parking fee of $20 per car applies. The organiser provides mandatory and recommended gear guidance; headtorch or flashlight is required overnight.
