Harrietville Half Marathon
The Harrietville Half Marathon is an annual running event scheduled for Sunday 11 October 2026. It is organised by a local running group in the Alpine Shire and takes place between Bright and the Mountain Village of Harrietville in North East Victoria. The location is roughly 3.5 hours from Melbourne.
The main road race covers 21.1 km and passes through scenic countryside before finishing in Harrietville. The event also includes these distances:

- 5 km
- 2 km Fun Run/Walk
All participants in 2026 will have automatic live timing, with timing chips attached to race bibs. The event forms part of the Alpine Valley Trifecta, which combines this race with designated runs at Bright and the Mt Beauty Running Festival to qualify for a medal and prize.
Proceeds from the event support the children of Harrietville Primary School and, in 2026, will also be allocated to a local youth group. The organising group describes its purpose as promoting running, health, wellbeing and community activities through an ongoing annual event.
