Harrietville Half Marathon
The Harrietville Half Marathon is an annual running event in North East Victoria, scheduled for Sunday 11 October 2026. The course runs between Bright and Harrietville and finishes in the mountain village of Harrietville. The route is described as passing through scenic, varied countryside in the Alpine Shire. The event is organised by a local running group focused on running, health, wellbeing and the community.
All proceeds from the event are directed to the children of Harrietville Primary School and in 2026 will also support a local youth group. The event program includes multiple race distances and a fun run or walk.

Automatic live timing is provided for all participants, with timing chips attached to bibs. The Harrietville Half is part of the Alpine Valley Trifecta; completing the 18 km Bright Fun Run, the 21.1 km Mt Beauty Running Festival and the 21.1 km Harrietville Half makes participants eligible for a medal and prize.
