Event
The Harpeth Hills Flying Monkey Marathon is scheduled for November 22, 2026, in Nashville, TN. A HALF Monkey event is scheduled for November 15, 2026. The event has been featured in Marathon & Beyond and in Runners' World. Organizers will time and measure the course, but the route will not be certified and it will not be a Boston-qualifying event. The event format excludes bands, cheerleaders, wave starts and large spectator crowds.
Course
The race is laid out in Percy Warner Park in the Middle Tennessee Harpeth Hills. The route runs through dense woods and over rolling hills for approximately 26.2 miles. The course description states a total of over 3600 feet of elevation gain and over 3600 feet of elevation loss, for more than 7200 feet of overall elevation change.
