Event overview
The Hargus Lake Trail Race takes place Saturday May 30 and Sunday May 31, 2026, at A.W. Marion State Park in Circleville, Ohio. The event is a multi-day trail running meeting organized by Wolf Pack Adventures. Race options are held on both days and include a half marathon, 10K, 5K, a timed "6 Hours of Power" event, and a 20K relay.
Distances
- 1/2 Marathon - two loops; elevation gain 1000 ft.
- 10K - one loop; elevation gain 500 ft.
- 5K - one loop; elevation gain 280 ft.
- 6 Hours of Power - timed endurance event.

Course and logistics
All races start and finish at the Boat Rental Shelterhouse and run on trail and mixed terrain around Hargus Lake. The course is marked with color-coded flags, cones, and arrows. There is one water station along the 1/2 marathon and 10K routes; half marathon runners have additional aid station support at the start/finish before the second loop. The race is permitted under special use authorization from A.W. Marion State Park.

Registration items include a race bib, finishers medal, and race sticker. Timing and posted results are provided, and sponsor products are included. The event uses a season point system where finishers earn points and additional points are awarded for meeting specified time or performance criteria.
