Harding Hustle - Cleveland National Forest, Silverado CA
The Harding Hustle is a trail running event on the Harding Truck Trail in the Santa Ana Mountains. The event includes multiple distances and runs primarily on forest service jeep roads with sustained climbs and descents and mountain views.
- 50K - 31.1 miles; total elevation gain 5,926 ft.
- 30K - 18.4 miles; total elevation gain 3,482 ft.
- 15K - 9.2 miles; total elevation gain 2,088 ft.
Course formats: the 30K and 15K are out-and-back on the Harding Truck Trail. Aid stations are provided along each course; some locations are full aid stations while others supply water only. Official cutoffs and overall time limits apply for each distance.
Logistics note that the primary event location is Tucker Wildlife Sanctuary in Modjeska Canyon and that parking is not allowed at the sanctuary. A shuttle service operates between a designated parking lot in Lake Forest and the sanctuary; runner dropoff is allowed but on-site parking is not. Crew access to remote aid stations is not available and pacers are not permitted. Finish line drop bags are allowed; on-course drop bags are not.
Weather in July tends to be hot and dry. Organizers may require minimum water capacity depending on projected temperatures and recommend carrying sufficient water between aid stations. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
