Hardin-Meade Endurance Run (31 Miler) - July 12, 2026
The Hardin-Meade Endurance Run is a point-to-point, 31-mile event in Kentucky that starts in Downtown Elizabethtown and finishes at the waterfront park in Downtown Brandenburg, Meade County. The event is limited to 50 participants and registration is managed through UltraSignup; registration closes Thu, Jul 9 at 11:59 PM ET. A route preview is available.
Organizers will verify minimum qualifications for all entrants. Due to typical July heat and humidity, participants are strongly recommended to have completed at minimum an ultra distance (50K or higher) or at least two full marathons. Starting waves are assigned based on a runner's average road marathon finish time and on the most recent validated submitted time. A safety briefing is scheduled 15 minutes before each runner's designated start time.
Safety and support requirements are specified in advance. Each runner must have at least one crew vehicle; only one crew vehicle per runner is permitted, though multiple runners may share a crew vehicle if they start and finish together. Crew vehicles must display warning signage reading "Warning Runners on Road," use warning or flashing lights at all times, and be in good working order. Crew vehicles will leap frog runners rather than follow directly.
Each runner and any allowed pacer must wear a safety reflective vest for the duration of the run. Pacers are permitted only until the intersection of HWY 60 and HWY 313 and must run behind or beside the runner. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
