Hardin-Meade Endurance Run : July 12, 2026
The Hardin-Meade Endurance Run is a 31 mile event in Elizabethtown, KY organized by Running Soles LLC. The course starts in downtown Elizabethtown and finishes at the waterfront park in downtown Brandenburg, Meade County. A route preview is available on Strava.
Entry is limited to 50 participants. Registration and minimum qualification verification are handled through UltraSignup. There is a paid registration option that includes a run logo shirt and a free no shirt option.
Due to typical July hot and humid conditions and the distance, participants are strongly recommended to have completed at minimum an ultra distance of 50K or at least two full marathons. Each runner must be supported by at least one crew vehicle; multiple runners may share a crew vehicle but those runners must start and finish together. Only one crew vehicle per runner pair or individual is allowed and vehicles must be in good working order.
Safety requirements include wearing a safety reflective vest for the duration of the run. Crew vehicles must display warning signage stating Warning Runners on Road and keep warning or flashing lights on at all times. Pacers are permitted until the intersection of HWY 60 and HWY 313 and must wear a safety reflective vest and run behind or beside the runner.
