Harcourts Hawke's Bay Women's Triathlon

The Harcourts Hawke's Bay Women's Triathlon is a women-focused multisport event organised by the Heretaunga Women’s Centre. It takes place in Hastings on 18 October 2026 at Mitre 10 HB Sports Park. All entry fees support the operating costs of the Heretaunga Women’s Centre.

The programme includes individual triathlons, team entries, multisport options, and run and walk distances. There is a compulsory race briefing and on-site registration and late entry is available the day before the event in the grandstand foyer. T-shirt pre-orders close on 30 September 2026 and general signup closes on 15 October 2026. Those registering after 6 October will not receive named bib numbers. A traffic notice asks arrivals on the Saturday to use Evenden Road for access.

Events and distances

  • Short Tri: 100 m swim, 5 km cycle, 2.5 km run
  • Middle Tri: 250 m swim, 15 km cycle, 5 km run
  • Long Tri: 500 m swim, 20 km cycle, 7.5 km run

Team events mirror the individual short, middle, and long distances.

Multisport and combined events

  • Aquabike: 250 m swim, 15 km cycle
  • Aquathlon: 250 m swim, 5 km run
  • Duathlon: 5 km run, 15 km cycle, 2.5 km run

Run and walk distances include 2.5 km, 5 km, 7.5 km, and a 10 km option.

Awards include trophies for the overall long tri individual winner, a youth trophy for under 20s, and a trophy for an emergency services team; emergency services affiliation should be indicated at sign up.
