HAPPY THRILLERWEEN : BOUNCE ROCK SKATE ROLL 5K AND WORLD'S LARGEST THRILLER DANCE
On October 31, 2026, B.T. Harvey Stadium at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia, hosts a combined fitness and cultural event featuring a 5K experience and a Guinness World Record attempt for the World's Largest Thriller Dance.
The 5K component covers 3.1 miles (5 km) and includes multiple activity categories: bicycling, wheelchair and adaptive athletics, roller skating and rollerblading, running, and walking. Participants are organized into staggered starting waves by category to separate different activities and support accessibility and safety.
The World's Largest Thriller Dance is presented as an in-person Guinness World Record attempt at the stadium, with Atlanta seeking to exceed the published record of 13,597 participants established in Mexico City. A virtual Thriller Dance experience is also offered for remote participants; virtual participation does not count toward the official in-person Guinness World Record attempt unless explicitly authorized in writing by Guinness World Records.
Additional on-site programming includes a health fair with wellness resources, a Halloween festival with music and family entertainment, and a corporate village and community marketplace. The event includes a partnership with the Ora Lee Smith Cancer Research Foundation and mentions opportunities for voluntary contributions to support cancer research.
The program provides multiple ways to join the event in person or virtually through running, rolling, skating, cycling, or participating in the companion dance activities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
