Happy HalloWINE Run and Walk
Happy HalloWINE Run and Walk is a small community running event held in the Lordship section of Stratford, Connecticut on November 1, 2026, at 10 Washington Parkway. The main course is a measured out-and-back along the coast, about 3.11 miles in length, with roughly 80 percent direct water views and a start and finish overlooking Point no Point opposite the seawall. The course is measured for running on the left side of the road, facing traffic, in accordance with state law.
Distances
- 5K for participants age 21 and over
- 5K for participants age 20 and under
- Kids dash about 150 to 200 yards for ages 9 and under
Participation is strictly limited to one hundred humans. The first 100 registrants receive event shirts (styles and colors may vary) and swag. Participants age 21 and over receive two half-bottles of wine and one post-run glass of beer; under 21 participants receive a nonalcoholic beverage. Brunch-style snacks such as pretzel bites, granola bars, and bananas are provided. Shirt size is guaranteed for registrations completed by October 18; registration fees are listed as $35 for age 21 and over and $25 for age 20 and under, with a noted fee increase planned on October 19.
The event will use pull tag timing with results posted online. Dogs on leash are permitted and owners should bring waste bags. Parking is available in the Little Pub lot, along the seawall, and on side streets while avoiding blocked driveways. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
