Hanover Turkey Trot 5K
The Hanover Turkey Trot 5K is a Thanksgiving Day running event held in Hanover, Massachusetts at 45 Whiting Street. The event features chip timing and a 5 kilometer course. Registration opens September 14, 2026 and closes November 26, 2026. The registration fee is $30.00.
Bib pickup is at Sylvester School, 495 Hanover Street, using the main entrance. Pickup times are Sunday 11/22 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM and Monday 11/23 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Race day bib pickup and late registration are available at Hanover Middle School beginning at 6:30 AM, and bins may also be picked up there starting at that time.
Medals are awarded to the top three finishers in each age category for both female and male divisions. Age categories are 1 to 10, 11 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 plus.
Parking is allowed at Hanover Middle School and at Hanover High School near the race finish. Participants parking at the high school should allow time to walk to the middle school start area. Strollers should line up at the back of the starting line. No dogs or bikes are allowed on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
