Hanover Harvest Festival 5K and Kids Fun Run
The Hanover Harvest Festival includes a chip-timed 3.1-mile 5K and a separate kids fun run with an obstacle course. The 5K course passes Hanover City Hall, the Hanover Historical Society, near the Crow River, the River Inn, and various neighborhoods and parks in Hanover, Minnesota. All 5K participants receive a swag bag with snacks and a 2026 Hanover Harvest Festival 5K t-shirt, and race winners receive prizes.
The kids fun run is staged on the lawn near the arbor at City Hall and continues into the playground at Settlers Park with a few small challenges along the route. Children who complete the course receive a t-shirt, a goodie bag, and a medal. Parents are able to take pictures as children run.
Registration details are provided for each event. Registration for the 5K opens May 4, 2026 and closes July 18, 2026; the 5K registration fee is $32. Early bird pricing for the 5K saves $8 through July 17, 2026 and increases on July 18. Kids run registration opens May 4, 2026 and closes August 1, 2026; the kids registration fee is $20. To guarantee a t-shirt for either event, registration must be completed by July 17, 2026.
