Hangover Half Marathon and 10K

The Hangover Half Marathon and 10K takes place on Thursday, January 1, 2026, in Overland Park, KS (10400 Roe, 66221). The event offers the following distances:

Half Marathon
10K

The course runs along the Indian Creek Parkway Trail and is described as well marked and scenic. All participants will be chip timed. The race does not offer overall prizes or age group awards. Weather at this time of year may be a challenge and the organizer states there will be no transfers, refunds, or deferrals for any reason, including event cancellation due to weather.

Logistics and entry

Entry fees listed are $40 for the half marathon and $32 for the 10K; prices increase after December 7, 2025 at 11:59pm CST. Registrants receive a custom Hangover Half pint glass and a finishers medal. A Hangover Half unisex hooded sweatshirt is available for an additional $20. Packet pickup is scheduled for Monday, December 30, from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Running Well Store, 200 E 135th Street, Kansas City.
