Hampton County Watermelon Festival 5K
The Hampton County Watermelon Festival 5K is an annual running event held in Hampton, South Carolina. The competition is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, 2026. The course begins and ends on Elm Street, specifically positioned in front of the local courthouse.

Participants have several opportunities for registration and packet pickup leading up to the race. Registration is available on the evening before the event at the Hampton gazebo on Lee Avenue, or on the morning of the race at the courthouse. Participants who register by June 1st are guaranteed an event T-shirt. The run takes place regardless of weather conditions, and no refunds are provided.
Following the conclusion of the run, an awards ceremony is held to recognize the top three overall finishers.
