Hampton County Watermelon Festival 5K
The Hampton County Watermelon Festival 5K is scheduled for June 20, 2026, in Hampton, South Carolina. The event is a 5-kilometre road run that starts and finishes on Elm Street in front of the Hampton County courthouse. The posted venue address is 210 First St W, Hampton SC 29924.
Late registration and packet pickup are available the day before the race on June 19 at the Hampton gazebo on Lee Avenue, and additional packet pickup and race day registration are available at the courthouse on race day. Registration must be received by Friday, June 5 to guarantee a T-shirt. The event entry fee is listed as $30.
Awards are presented after the race. Prizes are given to the top three overall finishers and to the top male and female in the following age categories: 12 & under, 13–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 and up.
