Halstead & Essex Marathon

The Halstead & Essex Marathon is set to return in May 2025 for its 29th edition, having been established in 1995. This popular event, organized by Halstead Road Runners, attracts participants from across the UK and beyond, taking place on scenic, low-traffic roads in North Essex. Known for its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to local charities, the marathon is part of the Essex Road Running Championships.
