Participation and Teams
Individuals participate in teams consisting of two to four runners or walkers. Each team receives a list of Halloween-themed items, with different point values assigned to each item found. Some specific objects on the list offer bonus points. To successfully document findings, at least one team member must carry a phone with enough storage for photos, as teams are required to take a picture with the item and include their team members in the shot.
Activity Details
The scavenger hunt is a timed activity lasting one hour. Teams must stay together for the duration of the run and use a running watch to track their time and distance. The event begins and ends at the Runners' Retreat store. Upon returning, teams report their final distance to the event organizers.
Social Gathering
Following the physical activity, a social gathering is held at The Cider House. During this time, the winning team is announced and presented with a prize based on the points collected during the hunt.
