Event Overview
The Halloween Hustle is the third edition of this Halloween-themed running event. It takes place at Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad on October 24, 2026.

Course Details
The 5K course consists of two loops through the historic, decorated village on improved gravel roads. The new Halloween Half Marathon route starts with one loop through the village, with the majority of the distance on the Flint River/Iron Belle Trail. Participants on the half marathon route can see views of Bluebell Beach, Mott Lake, Stepping Stone Falls, and wooded county land.
Participant Amenities
All finishers receive a long sleeve tech shirt and a 4-inch Crossroads-inspired finisher's medal. The event includes on-course aid stations, fall-themed finish line refreshments, and a post-race beverage tent for those 21 and over. Participants can also take a free ride on the park's carousel with a paid park admission.
Awards and Theme
Awards are given for runners and walkers, male and female, based on age group. Additional awards are given in several costume categories, encouraging participants to wear costumes.
Registration and Logistics
Packet pickup is available the day before the event at the Crim Office and on race day at Crossroads Village. The event is hosted by the Crim Fitness Foundation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
