Halloween Hustle
The Halloween Hustle takes place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at Crossroads Village, 6140 N Bray Rd, Flint, MI 48505. This is the third edition of the event and it introduces the first Crim Half Marathon called the Halloween Half.
Distances offered:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 5K run and walk
- Kids’ Trick-or-Trot quarter mile and half mile
The 5K is a two-loop course through the historic, decorated village on improved gravel roads. The Halloween Half completes one lap through the village and runs mostly on the Flint River / Iron Belle Trail, with views of Bluebell Beach, Mott Lake, Stepping Stone Falls, and wooded county land.
Post-race activities at Calkins Barn include drinks and food options, a beer garden, a live band, yard games, bonfires, and Halloween-themed attractions. Merchandise is available for the event, including shirts.
All participants receive a 4 inch custom medal, a bib, and a timing tag. Trick-or-trot participants receive a medal, a giveaway, and a candy bag. There is a cap on the half marathon. Age group awards are given to men and women in run and competitive walk categories for general and masters divisions in five year increments, plus awards in four costume categories.
