McLeansboro Halloween Hustle 5K
The McLeansboro Halloween Hustle 5K is organized by the Women’s Leadership Council of Hamilton County and takes place in McLeansboro, Illinois at the corner of East Main and South Jackson Streets, near the parking lot south of Lexi Lane Boutique. Proceeds support projects such as Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library for Hamilton County children and renovations at Kids Kingdom.

The course is described as a challenging double-loop route that is easy to follow; the start and finish are in the same general area. Packet pick up is scheduled on race day from 8:00 to 8:45 am. Registration opens on August 6, 2026 and closes on October 30, 2026. Registration fees listed are $25.00 for the 5K run and 5K walk, and $15.00 for the kids fun run. Participants who register by October 12 are guaranteed a T-shirt.
Awards are given for overall male and female top runner and walker, top runner and top walker in each age group for both male and female (age groups: 1-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over), and a finisher award for each child in the kids fun run.
