About the race
The event is the second annual community running and walking event held at Mulberry Rock Park in Dallas, Georgia, on October 17, 2026. It benefits the Paulding Education Foundation; proceeds support grants and partnerships that create expanded learning opportunities and resources for students and teachers in Paulding County.
Two event options are offered:
- 5K run
- 2 Mile health walk
All participants receive a long sleeve race T-shirt. Registration fees for the 5K and the 2 Mile walk vary by date and category and include a student and teacher discount; Paulding County educator discounts are available through the Paulding Education Foundation.
Pre-registration packet pickup is scheduled for October 16 at the Paulding Board of Education, 3236 Atlanta Highway, Dallas, GA. The 5K awards include top three overall male and female winners, masters male and female winners, and top three male and female in a range of age categories from 10 and under through 70 and over. There are no awards for the 2 Mile health walk.
The route runs through Mulberry Rock Park using paved paths, gently rolling hills, and sections of gravel track. The event will proceed regardless of weather and there are no refunds for inclement weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
