About the race
Halloween Howl - Saskatoon is a Halloween-themed fun run and walk held at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo on October 24, 2026. The event offers short and family-friendly distances and includes on-course candy stations and costume prizes. Net proceeds support the Saskatoon Zoo Society.
Entry for each participant includes a WICKED medal, a race bib, candy on the course, and free admission to the zoo. There is no refund policy. Registration opens August 21 and package pick-up is available on event day. Children under 3 enter the family distance for free.
Distances:
- Kids Dash: 250 metres
- Family 1KM: strollers and wagons allowed
- 5KM fun run: strollers allowed
There are candy stations on each course: a candy station on the Kids Dash, two candy stations on the Family 1KM, and four candy stations on the 5KM. Prizes are planned for best Kids Dash costume, best family costume (two prizes), and best 5KM costume.
