Halloween Dash Bash
The Halloween Dash Bash is a themed harvest running event at Pacific Community Park in Vancouver, WA on October 24, 2026. Races take place on a course that is mostly grass and compact trail with some sidewalk. The venue is described as spectator friendly with a festive Halloween and fall atmosphere. Age divisions apply by race and year of birth.
Distances offered include:
- Youth 2k for 8 and under
- Youth 3k for 9 to 12 year olds
- Youth 4k for 13 to 14 year olds
- High school 5k
- Open community 5k
Course layout notes indicate the 2k uses two small loops on grass and compact trail. The 3k mixes one small loop and one big loop and includes grass, compact trail, and some asphalt or sidewalk. The 4k is almost two big loops with similar surfaces. The 5k covers roughly 2.5 big loops over the same mixed surfaces.
Registration opens September 1, 2026 and closes October 18, 2026. Pre race registration fee is $13 for the youth distances and preregistered community 5k. Day of race registration for the community 5k is available at $25 payable by Venmo, check, or cash. All registrations are final with no refunds.
Parking is available at the park west and east entrances with the east lot having the most spaces. Additional parking is provided at nearby Pacific Middle School and Harmony Elementary within about a quarter mile northeast of the park. Medals will be awarded to the top 15 finishers in each race and the top boy and girl in each race will receive a Halloween blanket. Volunteers are noted as important to event operations.
