Halloween 5K - Greenlawn
The 11th edition of the Halloween 5K takes place on October 24, 2026, in Greenlawn, New York. The course begins and ends at the Greenlawn Fire Department Headquarters at 23 Boulevard Avenue and runs through the town of Greenlawn.
Registration is offered in multiple windows with different fees. Early bird registration runs from July 15 through August 31: adults 18 years and older $30, youth 17 and under $25. Regular registration runs from September 1 through October 22: adults $35, youth $25. Day of race registration is available on site with online day-of entries priced at $40 for adults and children, and paper registration at $45.
Awards are presented across several categories, including Top Overall male and female, Top First Responder male and female, Top Health Care Provider male and female, and the top three male and female finishers in age divisions from 12 and under through 80 and over. Separate costume awards recognize Best Adult male and female, Best Child boy and girl, and Best Group.
Every registrant receives a custom printed Halloween themed t-shirt. Additional vintage glassware from previous events will be distributed as part of the event giveaways. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
