34th Annual Halloween 5K and Kids Fun Run : Brookfield, CT
The event is scheduled for October 18, 2026 at the Brookfield Town Hall campus, 100 Pocono Road, Brookfield, CT 06804. It includes a chip-timed, USATF-certified 5K road race and a short kids fun run around the Town Hall parking lot.

The 5K course starts and finishes at Town Hall and passes through local neighborhoods with a mix of flat and gently rolling terrain. The finish area is located at Brookfield Town Hall where refreshments and Halloween treats are available. The race is chip timed and carries USATF certification number CT06013JHP. Walkers, strollers, and dogs on leash are allowed. Costume prizes are given for best costumes. Short sleeve tee-shirts are provided to all participants. Awards are presented to top runners across nine age groups: 8 and under; 9-13; 14-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and over.
The Kids Fun Run is a 0.23 mile loop around the Town Hall parking lot. Participants are grouped by age for the kids event, with an age grouping for children 8 years and under.
