34th Annual Halloween 5K and Kids Fun Run
The event includes a USATF certified, chip timed 5K road race and a separate kids fun run around the Town Hall campus in Brookfield, Connecticut. The 5K begins and finishes at the Brookfield Town Hall / Municipal Center at 100 Pocono Road and follows a course through neighborhood streets with flat and gently rolling sections. The finish area at Town Hall offers refreshments and Halloween treats.

- Kids Fun Run, 0.23 mile loop around the Town Hall parking lot
Walkers, strollers and dogs on leash are allowed on the course. Participants in both events are encouraged to wear costumes; prizes are awarded for best costumes. Short sleeve tee shirts are provided to all pre-registered 5K participants. The 5K awards top finishers across nine age groups: 8 and under, 9-13, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 plus. The Kids Fun Run groups participants by age with a focus on ages eight and under and provides a prize to every child participant.
