Halloween 5 and 10K
Halloween 5 and 10K takes place on October 25, 2026 at the HMCS Haida National Historic Site and HMCS Star in Hamilton, Ontario. The event is presented as a Haunted Carnival on the waterfront with music, themed decorations, and photo opportunities along the course.

There are in-person and virtual participation options. Race kit pick up is scheduled the day before at the Stoney Creek Running Room store and also at HMCS Star on event day. Virtual participants can track and submit results via the ASICS Runkeeper app or the event results page and will receive a virtual finisher certificate.
Costumes are encouraged and prizes are awarded for best costume plus trophies. A Pennywise inspired finisher medal is featured and a themed umbrella is offered to the first 500 registered runners. Food is available at the event.
The race supports fundraising for causes including McMaster Children’s Hospital NICU and Hamilton Food Share. Non perishable food items will be collected at the event and fundraising totals and partner groups are listed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
