Half Way to St. Pats Day 5K
The event takes place on 09/20/2026 at 10 Washington Parkway, Stratford, CT. It is a themed running event held roughly six months after St Patrick’s Day and organized around a main 5K and a short kids sprint.
Distances offered:
- 5K with two age categories: 21 and over; 20 and under.
- 300 yards free kids run for ages 10 and under.
Registration opens on 07/09/2026. Entry fees follow a staged schedule: age 21 and over is $30 through 08/16, $33 through 09/12, and $35 after that; age 20 and under is $25 through 08/16, $28 through 09/12, and $30 after that. Guaranteed shirt size or other swag is available through 09/09. Early pickup may be arranged the day before the event depending on preregistration numbers.
The course is described as flat and scenic, beginning near the Little Pub location in the Lordship neighborhood of Stratford, with quiet roads. Post-race provisions include shirts, snacks and post-run refreshments, and adult Irish style beverages for those eligible. Awards are planned for at least first place in eight age groups, with medals and other items. Parents or guardians may accompany children in the kids run.
