HALF WAY TO ST. PATS DAY 5K
This event in Stratford, Connecticut centers on a community 5K and a free kids sprint. It takes place near the Little Pub location in Lordship and uses a flat, scenic route on quiet roads in a residential area.
Distances offered:
- 5K for adult and youth divisions
- 300 yards free kids run for ages 10 and under
Registration opens on 7/9. Fee tiers are specified by age and date: age 21 and over is $30 until 7/31, $33 until 8/31, then $35; age 20 and under is $25 until 8/31, then $30. Guaranteed shirt size or other swag ends on 9/9; an early pickup option is scheduled before race day and race day pickup is planned on the event date. A green shaded shirt with a logo to be determined will be provided as part of the event items.
Post-run provisions include snacks and fluids. Adult Irish style beverages will be available to participants age 21 and over; participants age 20 and under are not eligible for those beverages. Awards will be given for at least first place in eight age groups. There is a stated refund incentive if a participant brings five people who register.
