Half Sam 13.1, 10k, 5k
Half Sam is a road race that starts at Issaquah Courthouse and follows well-maintained sections of the King County Trail along the Lake Sammamish corridor. The course is USATF certified and runs through a mix of paved trail and community shoreline views.
Distances available at the event:
- 13.1 miles half marathon
- 10 km Sam 10k
- 5 km Sam 5k
Participants receive a custom long sleeve dry release mesh T-shirt, a finisher medallion and a certificate. Aid is provided on the course every three miles and includes water, gel or GU, first aid and Gatorade. The 10k finish includes Haagen Dazs ice cream at the finish. The route passes the Issaquah Boat Launch and Sammamish Landing. Restroom facilities are available on the course and at the start for at least the 5k route.
