Half Sam 13.1, 10k, 5k
Half Sam offers road races along the Lake Sammamish corridor, starting at Issaquah Courthouse and following the King County Trail. The course is USATF certified and is described as flat and fast on a well maintained trail.
Distances offered:
- 13.1 miles half marathon on a USATF certified course
- 10k route along the King County Trail and lakeshore
- 5k course that continues north on the King County corridor
Aid stations are placed approximately every three miles and provide water, gel or GU, Gatorade, and first aid. The course passes local sites including the Issaquah Boat Launch and Sammamish Landing; the route highlights views of Lake Sammamish.
Participants receive a custom long sleeve dry release mesh T-shirt, a finisher medallion, and a certificate. Ticket prices listed for the event include a higher price for the half marathon and lower prices for the 10k and 5k. A 20 percent discount is available until the end of the month with code SAM2.
